Marketing Coordinator

MRWM Landscape Architects is a mid-size landscape architecture firm specializing in public design work. We are seeking a full or part-time marketing coordinator, from entry-level to experienced candidates. Must be creative, adaptable, self-motivated, quick, organized, and interested in participating in a broad range of activities that directly and indirectly support the growth, culture, and day to day activities of the firm. Must have excellent critical thinking, writing and graphic skills.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor degree in either marketing/communications, English, graphic design or a related design field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office software is required. Knowledge of the landscape architecture (AEC) industry is a plus, but not required.

Primary duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing graphic and written marketing materials, proposals and presentations including project management, writing, editing, graphic layout and production.
  • Coordination with staff and sub-consultants to ensure timely submission of materials.
  • Maintaining database of current landscape architectural RFP opportunities.
  • Managing and organizing marketing files.
  • Developing graphic promotional materials (handouts, brochures, banners, etc).
  • Marketing support on a diverse range of topics from communications to events, including (but not limited to): social media posting, creative campaign brainstorming, email marketing, newsletters, press releases, editorial calendars, content coordination, etc.

The following skills are not required, but would be a plus:

  • Website maintenance/design including search engine optimization (Squarespace).
  • Photography and photo editing.
  • Inbound marketing (Hubspot).

Experienced Landscape Architect (3-10 years)

Candidates must be creative, energetic, self-motivated, possess strong communication and critical thinking skills, and the ability to take personal initiative in their work environment.  Current licensure is preferred but not required.  Candidates must have strong writing and graphic skills, and the capacity to learn new skills quickly.  An undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program is required, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS Office software.  Proficiency with SketchUp is preferred, but not required.  Thorough plant knowledge and the ability to develop complete irrigation system plans and details is also preferred, but not required.

This is a project management level position and requires the ability to independently provide a full range of landscape architectural services on projects of all sizes.  Typical work skills required include:

  • Mentoring, organizing and directing junior level staff.
  • Preparation and coordination of complete construction documents including technical specifications and cost estimates.
  • Evaluation, selection and approval of materials and products.
  • Assisting with day to day construction administration activities.
  • Working with other staff members in a team environment.
  • Collaborating and communicating with professionals of other disciplines.
